Take a picnic to the beach just before sunsetOriginally from Greeneville, Tennessee, Beverly Serral grew up vacationing on Hilton Head Island, where her family owned property. She loved the area so much that Beverly would return to the island summer after summer even throughout college. So it’s no surprise that twenty years ago, she decided to relocate to Hilton Head Island with her children.
When Beverly began her career in real estate in 2004, she was always told that she needed to pick one or the other – real estate or vacation rentals – and that she couldn’t do both. But ever the pioneer, Beverly decided to build her own company that combined the two. BESTNEST was born from a desire to generate income by renting her own property on Hilton Head Island. Beverly designed her home to attract the type of guest who was willing to pay a premium to stay somewhere ultra-clean, well-equipped, and with a high level of service.
Starting with that one property, Beverly envisioned a brand that would exude an unprecedented level of consistency – every home outfitted with the same high-quality cookware, glassware, appliances, electronics, beach gear – everything. Over the years, BESTNEST has grown organically to include over 45 homes that all meet Beverly’s exacting standards. Today, Beverly Serral Signatures includes everything from a full-service residential brokerage and luxe vacation rentals through BESTNEST to sophisticated, coastal-casual interior design.
Beverly spends time in both Manhattan and Hilton Head Island, where she is an extremely involved community member. She’s an active member of her church, has been involved with the Sea Pines governance for many years, and is a member of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors. She has also served as a host for Hilton Head Heroes families and as a member of 100 Heroes. Beverly truly loves Hilton Head Island, which she describes as the peaceful 12-mile-long island with everything you need, including an amazing community of wonderful people who come from all over. And that love shines through in everything she does, including BESTNEST.
