One of the best family beaches in the country, Holden Beach, North Carolina beckons visitors with 8 miles of sand, year-round moderate temperatures, and tons of activities, from biking and jogging to shelling and sailing. With a unique position on the Southern Coast of North Carolina, Holden Beach gets sun on the beach all day long, and visitors can enjoy both sunrises and sunsets from wherever they set their beach chairs.

These are just some of the reasons why Rachele Hobbs, CEO of Hobbs Realty, loves to call Holden Beach home.

After living all over the world, Rachele Hobbs and her family ultimately settled in Holden Beach. It was there that Rachele met her husband, Jimmy Hobbs, and married into the family business. After promising his wife a beach house, Jimmy’s father recruited his children to finally build one in 1977. But when the home was just halfway to completion, someone offered to buy it. When the same thing happened a second time – and a third – Hobbs Realty was born.
