When realtor Darbi Bolton asked her colleague Teryn Chapin to refer someone specializing in vacation rentals, she had no idea it would lead to the creation of Nashville’s largest locally owned management company with over 170 homes. But that’s exactly what happened.
Teryn, who had a vacation home of her own, suggested that she and Darbi go into business together, managing vacation rentals themselves. Over a pitcher of margaritas, Stay Local Nashville was born. Today, the female-owned company has its own impressive laundry facility, an amazing local staff, and does 800-1000 checkouts a month – when it’s slow.
Incredibly involved in every aspect of their homes, from cleaning and inspecting to maintenance, guest bookings, and marketing, you’ll never find a company that’s more hands-on and reachable. Darbi and Teryn pride themselves on their team culture. With team parties and events every quarter – like city-wide scavenger hunts – they really make their company feel like family.
