One of the oldest and most established rental companies in Big Canoe, Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia has been in operation for over twenty years. When Deborah Torrance and Wynn Jones purchased the company in 2021, they were managing 16 homes. Over the last two years, they have almost doubled their inventory, personally ensuring that each and every home exceeds expectations with heightened aesthetics and guest experiences that provide a significant return on investment for their homeowners.

Just an hour outside of Atlanta, Georgia, but a world away, lies the exclusive gated community of Big Canoe. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this one-of-a-kind 8,000-acre mountain retreat boasts five lakes, three waterfalls, 25 miles of hiking trails, three championship golf courses, seven mountains, abundant community amenities – and is officially recognized by the Georgia Audubon Society as a nature preserve. In and around Big Canoe, hike to waterfalls, spend the day at the beach club, rent a boat at the marina, dine at the Clubhouse, visit wineries and breweries, explore nearby historic towns, and make cherished memories in the mountains.

These are just some of the reasons why Deborah Torrance and Wynn Jones, owners of Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia, are proud to call Big Canoe home.
