Oceanfront Cottage Rentals

In Ray’s Tybee Island collection, you’ll have your choice of coastal condos, charming cottages, and three-story beach mansions, all outfitted with luxury finishes and tons of southern charm. Right on the beach, in the heart of Tybee’s vibrant downtown, or tucked away from it all, a relaxing escape with those you love the most awaits.

Charming wrap-around porches with Adirondack rockers or comfy outdoor sofas greet you upon arrival. Rooftop decks offer unobstructed views of the ocean and the perfect sunset viewing spot. Private pools with sun shelves for the kids to splash around on and built-in hot tubs with waterfall features for the adults are set just beside the ocean or cocooned within lush tropical landscaping.

Inside, light and bright living spaces feature vaulted ceilings, shiplap walls, gleaming wood flooring, and painted beams. Comfortable oversized sectionals and cozy armchairs, driftwood-inspired reclaimed wood dining tables, beaded chandeliers, and plantation shutters offer the perfect mix of southern charm and beachy bliss.

Plus you’ll love the upscale extras, like private elevators, double ovens, Smart TVs, allergen-free mattresses and pillows, double washer/dryers, bedroom suites with fireplaces, fire pits, and billiards rooms. Take advantage of all the modern amenities, then walk steps to the beach or stroll to town and embrace the laid-back charm of Tybee Island.

Originally from Tennessee, Ray Anaya was a freshman in college when his mother moved to Tybee Island, Georgia. Years later, in 2011, Ray followed suit. Searching for his passion, Ray helped launch a new event space on the island, Tybee Island Wedding Chapel & Grand Ballroom. After helping launch the 5-star wedding venue, Ray quickly learned his passion was business, and almost 16 years later, he still works for the venue’s sister company, Oceanfront Cottage Rentals.

Within Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, Ray has worked in various roles, including Chief Operating Officer and his current role as Marketing & Rates Manager. The small, local team operates like a family. In fact, it kind of is – Ray’s mom is actually the accounts manager.

Locally owned and operated, Oceanfront Cottage Rentals began in 1978, when owner Stacye C. Jarrell purchased her own oceanfront cottage on Tybee Island. Since then, the company has grown organically to manage over seventy beautiful homes on the island. While not the largest company, they may just have the biggest hearts. Oceanfront Cottage Rentals partners with nonprofits like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Little Pink House of Hope for Breast Cancer Survivors, and Renegade Pet Rescue to give back to their community.

And that’s just one example of how Ray and his team put their hearts into everything they do. With a focus on personal interactions, the team uses a proactive approach, like talking to each and every guest pre-arrival to help anticipate their questions and needs. They make it their goal to work with quality properties with quality owners and to make sure that every guest has the best experience possible on Tybee Island.
