Linger Hospitality

In Myron and Joleen’s collection, all the beauty, serenity, and wonder of the Finger Lakes are at your fingertips. Farmhouses on tranquil wooded lots just off the wine trail, cabins tucked into the hillside steps from a waterfall, and grand lake homes with private beaches provide the ideal setting for rest and rejuvenation, wine-tasting weekends, and memorable lake getaways with your favorites.

When you stay with Linger Hospitality, you’re staying in a home that’s been lovingly designed and decorated for both style and comfort. Expansive light-filled living spaces feature vaulted ceilings with floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces and large windows showcasing views of the lake or trees. Kitchens with locally built custom cabinetry and farmhouse sinks are finished with top-of-the-line appliances and eye-catching backsplashes.

Gather for movie nights in a theater room with a 120-inch projector screen. Challenge the family to a competitive game night with billiards, foosball, indoor shuffleboard, or arcade games. Work out in the exercise room or enjoy a steam in the sauna. Or simply relax by the fire in a lake-view sunroom or a soaking tub set by a window overlooking a peaceful wooded setting.

Outside, spacious decks with hot tubs, covered porches with woodburning stone fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens provide the perfect opportunity to entertain. Stroll along on-site walking paths, enjoy private beaches and docks, play pickleball, basketball, or yard games, kayak across the lake, watch the game on a large-screen TV in the cabana, or build a campfire under the stars.

Growing up in large families who always had a guest room ready, you could say that Myron and Joleen Glick both had hospitality ingrained in them. With entrepreneurial parents and strong connections in the community, Joleen was meant for guest communication, while Myron’s background in construction and project management helped him excel in maintenance, operations, and accounting. Together, the husband-wife duo owns and operates Linger Hospitality in the Finger Lakes region of New York.

Since its inception in 2016 when it was just a handful of properties, Linger Hospitality has grown by word of mouth to almost forty homes. But despite their growth, they maintain their roots as a small company. For Myron and Joleen, the most important thing is making sure their guests and owners feel cared for. It’s just as much about the relationships they build as it is about the homes they manage. As owner-operators, they work directly with their owners and work hard to ensure their owners know them well.

And they want guests to feel the same way. Celebrating something? They’ll drop off champagne. Have a birthday during your getaway? They’ll leave cake and balloons. Before owning Linger, Myron and Joleen always hosted guests in a room at their home. Now that they’re hosting professionally, they maintain that personal feel and make it feel like you’re staying in their home – not just a house they rent.

When they’re not working, you’ll find Myron and Joleen on their small farmette overlooking Seneca Lake with their five kids and menagerie of dogs and chickens, exploring the trails and backcountry roads on their bikes, and looking for new spots to recommend to their guests.
