Mini golf, bumper cars, or ice skating in the Village, paddle boarding, river rafting/floating, biking, walking to Benham FallsStacy Wesson was just a girl in 1983 when her parents, Ed and Sandy Willard, founded what would become Cascara Vacation Rentals. Over more than 35 years, Ed and Sandy have maintained a high standard of service while treating customers like family, proudly creating a place where everyone feels at home.
Having grown up in the business, Stacy understands the ins and outs of the vacation rental industry better than anyone. Throughout her life, she has contributed to the family business, but when her father retired, she signed on as General Manager and made the decision to return for good.
Today, Stacy carries on the legacy of the family business with the passion, creativity, and hard work needed to bring Cascara to the next level. Over the last 38 years, Cascara has grown from zero to approximately eighty properties. And in a resort community where there are several vacation rental companies that might be considered competition, Cascara sets itself apart. With no real estate division, Cascara is completely focused on vacation rentals, and they pride themselves on being a local, family-run business that truly cares about the properties, the people, and the community.
Cascara continues to grow while maintaining that same quality of service that has always defined its brand. In fact, they have homeowners who have been with them since the early years. As a true family business, they are proud to now work with the second generation of homeowners. It’s that legacy of customer service and willingness to go the extra mile, to be the home away from home for guests, the local hero for their neighbors, and the champion for their homeowners, that Stacy is proud to carry forward.
Located in Central Oregon, Sunriver is an idyllic resort community beckoning visitors to explore the High Desert of the Pacific Northwest. Hike through the Lava Cast Forest, bike on nearly 40 miles of paved trails, rent a paddleboard, canoe, or raft to float down the Deschutes River, head out on a guided horseback riding excursion, or golf a Top 100 course. In summer, take the kids to an outdoor pool followed by mini golf. In winter, go ice skating in the Village at Sunriver, where you’ll also find boutique shopping, dining, and entertainment, or ski Mt. Bachelor, only 21 miles away.
