Published: April 2, 2025

Have a bachelor party to pull off in epic fashion? Always wanted to go skiing in Utah or enjoy other outdoor adventures in the Beehive State? Just have a hankering to check out one of its many golf course options? Sounds like you might be planning a Park City guys trip, and we approve.

If you want to pull off the perfect vacation, then you need a guide to everything: where to eat, what to do, where to stay, and what to pack.

Luckily for you, we’ve got that everything guide right here. So grab a manly drink, plop down in your favorite recliner, and read on for the skinny on Park City, Utah, the perfect guys trip destination.

Where to Eat

Yeah, you’re going to need a lot of food to keep all that masculine momentum going. First, let’s tackle the best restaurants Park City has to offer. Whether you’re going for a bachelor party or outdoor adventurers such as skiing in Utah, here’s where to head, depending on what you’re in the mood for:

In case you’re curious, The Bridge Café and Grill is also known for its hangover breakfast potential. If you’ve had a big night out and want to get back in shape for a day on the slopes, it’s a great place to go.

Where to Drink

Speaking of hangovers, no Park City guys trip guide would be complete without a quick look at the Utah liquor store options. The bottom line is you can get boozy in Utah, but it might take a little more planning than other places due to limiting state laws.

Specifically, the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services runs two liquor depots in Park City, #36 and #38, so check hours and head there if you want to stock up. Note that you can also get beer and wine at grocery stores, though they are lower-ABV, as well as mixed drinks and other libations at restaurants.

So when you’re not stuffing sushi in your face or enjoying a night of revelry, what should you do? Here are a few of our favorite guys trip activities to consider during the day:

Golfing

There are seven public golf courses in Park City and eight private ones, according to the city's website. Among the most popular are Wasatch Mountain Golf Course, Park City Golf Club, Jeremy Ranch Country Club, and Canyons Golf. Trust when we say, you won’t run out of options! Not a golfing group of dudes? Try a quick google of “mini golf near me” once you check into your rental and you’ll find options.

Skiing

No guys’ trip guide of outdoor activities is complete without a mention of Utah skiing, of course. Utah has famously powdery snow, a range of different terrains, and easy access. There are three ski resorts in Park City alone: Park City Mountain, Deer Valley, and Woodward Park City.

Thrills

Love a good zip line? You’ll find plenty, from Utah Olympic Park to Zipline Utah to Flying Eagle Zipline. Not thrilling enough? Try the Alpine Coaster, which is like a zipline roller coaster mix. If that’s still not enough ways to go fast, try Park City Peaks Snowmobiling.

Concerts

When it comes to concerts in Utah 2024 was a good year, but 2025 promises to be even better. From 90s bands to country music festivals to Irish dancing, there's something for everyone in Park City.

What to Pack

What you should pack depends on several factors, including the time of year and the weather Utah experiences then, the activities you enjoy, and how many different wardrobe changes you’re going to need during the day.

Here are some basic hacks for packing right:

  • Keep your itinerary on hand while packing.
  • Check whether your lodging has laundry and pack underthings accordingly.
  • Gather the clothes you’ll need for specific activities (golfing, skiing) first.
  • Plan mix-and-match outfits rather than complete ones to reduce the number of pants, shirts, etc. you need.
  • Plan to wear big items on the plane if you can (e.g. your ski jacket).
  • If you’re going in winter, and especially if you’re skiing and need to bring lots of gear, consider booking tickets with an airline that offers a free bag.

How to Get Around

Getting around is not hard in Park City, but it pays to do a little planning.

The good news is that transportation in Park City is quite simple. The buses in town are free and most of them are even electric, so you can feel good about hopping on and off all day. Many people who fly in find they don’t need a rental car at all.

Speaking of flying, most travelers will land at Salt Lake International Airport. Although there are other airports in Utah, this one is about 35 minutes away, so it’s the most popular choice. You can book a shuttle from the airport right to town.

If you want your own car because you like getting out and about, there are several rental options. Specifically, you can rent through Budget (Shadow Ridge Hotel), Hertz (Park City Marriott), or Enterprise, which is downtown. If that doesn’t sound like something you want to pay for on your guys’ trip, however, you can also just take Uber and Lyft, both of which are available and relatively affordable.
