Known for its artisans and craftsmen, Blue Ridge, GA, is also a great family vacation destination. The main attraction is the area's many hiking trails, but you'll also find tourist spots that are great for younger vacationers.

If your kids love outdoor adventure, escape rooms, and river-based fun, you’ll find many kid-friendly attractions here, too. Here are some of the best options you can enjoy without leaving town.

1. Blue Ride Aerial Adventure Park

Adventurers climb and balance on a high ropes course with suspended bridges, nets, and swinging elements. The bright blue sky makes the challenge even more thrilling. This aerial park offers fun and excitement for those seeking an adrenaline rush.

Climb and explore 50 feet high in this challenging, but fun, aerial ropes course. Blue Ridge Aerial Adventure Park has multiple levels to challenge participants ages 10 and up. Because the course is progressive, you’ll find a level to fit your abilities. While at the park, consider taking a zipline tour or taking a ride on the Taccoa River in a tube.

They also offer whitewater rafting through the Ocoee Rafting Center for teens and adults.

2. The Lilly Pad Village

The Lilly Pad Village sign welcomes guests to a charming outdoor attraction surrounded by tall trees. Bright flowers, stone landscaping, and rustic wooden seating create a cozy, family-friendly vibe. It’s the perfect spot for mini golf, gem mining, and mountain fun.

3. The Zone

This game, which is similar to paintball, won’t leave you with welts, but will leave you with plenty of happy memories.

5. Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

This tubing adventure is self-guided, but you’ll get plenty of instructions before you leave. Life jackets are included with your tour to keep your kids safe on the water.
