2910 Killington Rd, Killington, Vermont
With a building full of history, the modern-day Lookout Tavern was originally Killington’s Resort's debut lodge. It was then transformed into pubs, restaurants, and even a gentlemen's club before finding its footing as the beloved local restaurant it is today. This fun, inspired, eatery is known as the “go to” spot for casual dining and fun in the Killington area, and is now known as one of the best restaurants in Killington VT.
Owners Phil and Joy Black completed their renovations to the property and opened their doors as the Lookout Tavern in August 2000. Since their opening, Phil and Joy ensure that skiers and riders enjoy top-notch service. However, everyone who enters the doors of Lookout is in for a good experience. Expect casual dining with wing, burger and sandwich options, along with some great beer and drinks.
One noteworthy feature of Lookout Tavern is its Roof Top Patio, which happens to be the only such patio in all of Vermont. This spacious patio boasts over 60 seats, all of which come with a spectacular view. If you are wondering about the name Lookout and assume it is a result of the view, you would be wrong. In reality, the Lookout name comes from an interesting story about an ugly necktie. Ask Phil about it personally as it’s a story you don’t want to miss!

37 Miller Brook Road, Killington VT
This unique restaurant features not only amazing dishes but an art gallery and some fabulous coffee as well. It is a family-owned and operated establishment owned by the Sarandreas family. Liquid Art opened its doors for the first time in December 2010. Owner Beth is the resident photographer, barista and mixologist, while Jeff is a chef with a background in quality cooking.
Creative cocktails, specialty coffees, fresh, innovative and healthy fare, combined with local artwork create a conglomerate under one roof where the motto is “everything we serve is art.” The art itself most certainly falls under this description, but the dishes are so artfully presented that they can be considered art as well.
Baristas have been specifically trained to serve gourmet espresso drinks made with the La Marzocco Espresson Machine, along with VT Artisan Coffee and Tea, which has been locally roasted in nearby Waterbury, VT. Liquid Art also offers a wide array of fine wines and microbrews, and the food menu cannot be overlooked. It is delectable in and of itself and also includes a light menu with vegetarian options.

Glazebrook Center, 2820 Killington Road, Killington, VT
Considered an upscale yet casual family restaurant, Choices Restaurant & Rotisserie has regularly been deemed Killington’s best place to eat throughout its 35-year history as one of the most beloved Killington restaurants. There are 40 regular menu items that include seafood, sandwiches, fish, and even house-made fettuccine. Choices, which is aptly named thanks to its many offerings, also features 20 wines by the glass, craft beers, and signature cocktails served from the wrap-around bar. All of this is made even better by the house-baked desserts.
Choices Restaurant has a unique history in that it was created by Chef Claude who decided to come back to his home state and open his own eatery, which he named Chef Claude’s Choices Restaurant and Rotisserie. This was after he gained a reputation working in various upscale hotels and restaurants in other locations. He then retired from Choices and sold it to Chef Galvin and Dan Tolley, who took the torch and carried it on as Choices Restaurant & Rotisserie. The new team has continued the tradition of quality food, featuring good ingredients served in a friendly atmosphere.

63 Summit Path, Killington, VT
Considered the place where great dining meets spectacular views, The Foundry at Summit Pond is another Killington restaurant that should be on your list to try. It is located on the banks of the Summit Pond and is a beloved venue not only for those visiting the area, but also for those who call Killington home.
The diverse Foundry menu includes farm-to-table cuisine, including both landlubber and seafood options. The setting, which is specular, can be the makings of a romantic or even formal evening, while the space also allows for more casual attire. The venue is often the setting for live music and events and is ideally suited for large parties (reservations strongly encouraged).
The most beloved aspect of the Foundry isn’t anything from the kitchen (although that is wonderful) but is instead the outdoor porch where sunsets are something to experience. During the winter months, you can cozy up after being outdoors at the fireplace. Keep in mind that every meal is said to be a celebration of flavor and community.

2194 Killington Road, Killington, VT
Although it was built in 1971 by Cold Weather Construction Co. owner Jack Giguere in Killington, Charity’s 1887 Saloon actually contains a unique piece of craftsmanship dating back to 1887. The bar, which is Charity's signature centerpiece, was constructed in France and then shipped to America for a saloon in Davis, West Virginia, where it was in use during the mining and lumber booms of the 1800s. Interestingly enough, that establishment was operated by Miss Charity back in its heyday, hence the name of the modern Killington salon, now honoring her.
This showstopping bar is crafted from cherry wood and features a handrail and marble pillars. When Jack Giguere learned the West Virginia saloon, which housed this bar, was to be demolished after closing, he had to rescue it and bring it to Killington. Dismantling this piece and then reconstructing it was as delicate as fine-tuning a musical instrument. However, the end result is a centerpiece for Charity’s with a unique history that could not be more impressive.

2229 Killington Rd, Killington, VT
A Killington institution since 1963, The Wobbly Barn is part steakhouse, part nightclub, and entirely one of a kind. The building itself was assembled from pieces of ten different New England barns, giving it a warmth and character that can't be manufactured. Standout cuts include filet mignon, porterhouse, and NY strip, alongside pan-seared scallops, pork belly, and seasonal specials. The legendary soup, salad, and fresh bread bar remains the beloved anchor of every meal.
After dinner, the nightclub kicks in with live entertainment on weekends, making The Wobbly Barn a full evening out rather than just a meal. Dinner guests receive complimentary nightclub admission (select nights excluded).

1724 Killington Rd, Killington, VT
An Italian roadhouse that commits fully to its concept and delivers. The Garlic opens at 5 PM nightly on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early on weekends or expect a wait. The rustic, garlic-themed interior sets the tone immediately. Start with the roasted garlic and house bread, artichoke dip with five cheeses and crostini, or garlic mussels in white wine and Sambuca. For mains, the garlic-crusted rack of lamb, scallop fra diavolo over linguini, prosciutto tortellini, and chicken marsala are the standouts. A full martini bar and a well-curated Italian wine list by the glass round out the experience.
The bar is a great spot to sit on quieter nights, staff are knowledgeable, the tapas menu is ideal for sharing, and the atmosphere is warm without being fussy.

1930 Killington Rd, Killington, VT
Opened in 1981, Casey's Caboose restaurant is housed inside a 35-ton circa-1900 railroad snowplow car, the kind that kept New England tracks clear through brutal winters until a derailment sidelined it.
Dine in the raised observation deck where the engineer once worked, or grab a window seat with a full view of Killington. The menu covers crowd-pleasing comfort food: mac 'n' cheese, steak, seafood, burgers, and chowder, all in a setting that's as fun for families as it is for a post-ski group. As the locals say, "if you haven't been to Casey's, you haven't been to Killington."

747 Killington Rd, Killington, VT
Inspired by the food, music, and culture of Nashville, The Rivershed brings a welcome dose of Southern energy to the Vermont mountains. The menu leans into smash burgers, BBQ brisket, chicken & waffles, tacos, fried pickles, hot honey salmon, and mac & cheese, all backed by a strong craft beer program and live entertainment on weekends. The vibe is relaxed and high-energy at the same time — a reliable spot for a casual dinner with a group or anyone who wants live music without the nightclub price tag.
