If you’re visiting the Bahamas, you’ll want to spend at least one evening soaking up the incredible nightlife on the island. More than just having a drink or two while you’re out at dinner, the Bahamas is a great place to dip your toes in a little bit of trouble.

The island vibes extend to nearly every corner of the country and, with a little bit of planning, you can sample everything from an elegant night on the town to something a little more rambunctious.

Señor Frog’s has been a global institution since the 1970s. With multiple locations, the Mexican chain offers diners a place to really let down their hair. You might know Señor Frog’s for its invention of The Yard, otherwise known as a very tall drink that packs a big punch. If you're enjoying an adult vacation in the Bahamas, it's tough to beat the vibes you'll find here.

Señor Frog’s has a fairly wide food menu that includes everything from mozzarella sticks to tacos to burgers. The service in the Bahamas tends to be quick, attentive, and friendly, which is particularly helpful in a hotspot that can get crowded fast.

As the name suggests, Skybar at Baha Mar is an elevated experience — quite literally! Located on the 20th floor of the SLS hotel, this rooftop bar is where you can see some of the most iconic views of the island. Sip some on a cocktail as you gaze below and soak in the scenery. 

Known as the place to show off your best vacation duds, Skybar offers everything from premium champagne to espresso martinis. When the stars come out, the bar goes from tables and chairs to a hot dance floor.

With world-class DJs providing the soundtrack to your night, Skybar might just be the best place to kick up your heels.

3. Daiquiri Shack

Believed to have been invented in Cuba, the Daiquiri has become a global staple that has long paired best with hot nights and even hotter nightclubs. As you search around for things to do in the Bahamas, keep in mind that this particular spot on the beach is known for its service, vibes, and delicious fruity drinks. 

Thanks to its location and affordable prices, it may be the best place if you’re looking to catch up with the locals, thanks to its wide range of clientele. Plus, the staff put on a show of preparing these delectable drinks with some of the freshest fruit on the island.

4. Aura at the Atlantis Casino

In the Atlantis Casino, you’ll find a grand staircase that heads up to one of the hippest nightclubs on the island. This adults-only club has 9,000 square feet of dance space where you can mix and mingle in opulence. Splurge on bottle service, a banquette, or even a private VIP parlor. 

Aura attracts a blend of locals and tourists who want to get lost in the music. Just be forewarned that it does have a dress code of casually elegant, so leave your bathing suit or ripped clothing in the hotel room.

5. Tiki Bikini Hut

Located on Junkanoo Beach, the Tiki Bikini Hut promises to put you in the moment! During the day, the hut is a beach club and bar with an attentive staff and delicious cocktail and lunch options. At night, it turns into a full-service restaurant with some of the most romantic views of the harbor. 

No matter when you visit the Tiki Bikini Hut, you’re likely to find live entertainment. From R&B to jazz to calypso, the Bahamian musicians put their talents to good use at this destination. The Tiki Bikini Hut fully supports the Bahamas People-to-People program, where guests of the island fully immerse themselves in the island’s culture and vibes.

The business is promoting its own version of the program by employing the island’s musicians (and inviting everyone to join in on the fun)!

6. Miss Emily’s Blue Bee Bar

Miss Emily’s Blue Bee Bar is best-known for the Goombay Smash, an intoxicating mix of rum (both spiced and coconut), pineapple juice, orange juice, and apricot brandy.

You’ll find this fruity drink all over the island, but because it was first invented here, you may not want to order one anywhere else. 

Miss Emily’s bar was founded on her ingenuity, work ethic, and rhythmic moves, and there’s a reason why it’s beloved by tourists and locals alike. The friendly staff and delicious food has made this one of the most well-known bars on the island, and a great place to kick back and relax.

7. Monkey Bar

Also located in the SLS, Monkey Bar is a place where people come to meet new people in an opulent piazza lobby bar. More than just a few tables and chairs, the high ceilings and spacious setting make it a great place to gather and relax. Throughout the bar, you’ll find an array of seating configurations, making it perfect to go with friends or on your own. 

At night, the bar transitions from a casual meeting place to a more elegant atmosphere. When you’ve had a long day at the casino or on the waves, head to Monkey Bar in your best island attire to kick off the night.

If you’re still feeling frisky after a drink or two, the Bond nightclub at the SLS features cool cocktails and a hot dance floor. Named after the glamorous, sexy spy, this is a swanky spot to sneak in a couple of dances.
