It’s not hard to find the perfect hiking trail, climbing route, or whitewater rafting tour when you visit Wyoming– there are so many options for adventurers at every experience level. From horseback riding to mountain biking, you can enjoy pretty much any outdoor activity you can think of in Jackson Hole.

Grand Teton National Park is significant to conservationists because of its wildlife migratory patterns. Most notable is the pronghorn migration that occurs during the winter months, which visitors can observe.

Yellowstone’s south entrance is only about 60 miles (less than two hours) away from Jackson, so it serves as an excellent base camp location for a day trip to the park.

The National Elk Refuge is dedicated not only to preserving elk herds, but also to educating people about wildlife conservation. Take a sleigh ride through the refuge in the winter, or spot eagles, hawks, and falcons during the summer.

2. Relaxing in Hot Springs and Spas
Hot springs are a great option for the members of your group who still want to enjoy Jackson Hole’s natural beauty, but have no interest in hiking, fishing, or scaling rocks with their bare hands. Granite Hot Springs is a developed concrete hot spring located in Bridger-Teton National Forest. During the summer, you can soak and admire massive evergreens and even spot some wildlife! Unfortunately, the hot springs are closed during the winter time. - Astoria Hot Springs
Located within Astoria Park, a 95-acre preserved natural space close to the Snake River, these hot springs consist of six different pools filled with thermal waters.
