Boating and spending time at the beachOriginally from Wilmington, Delaware, Kris Maichle craved warmer weather and island life. After college, Kris moved to Captiva Island, Florida, and South Seas Resort, to begin his career in hospitality. Kris gained experience in every detail of hospitality, from the front desk to housekeeping to food and beverage. As he cultivated his expertise, Kris pursued a General Manager training program, and ultimately was enticed to St. Simons Island.
